VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS AND departments of De La Salle University have collaborated to heighten the Lasallian community’s interest on electoral issues and awareness of political personalities and their agenda.

Led by the Center for Social Concern and Action, the multi-sectoral initiatives on Voters’ Education Campaign are participated in by the University Student Government, Jesse M. Robredo Institute of Governance, College of Law, and Political Science Department.

Aside from the DLSU community, the University’s partner-communities also benefit from the campaign. The proponents of the campaign provide them with basic information on the right to suffrage and political processes and encourage them to participate in the elections.

The activities also seek to promote the Lasallian Principles of Social Development, underscoring Jesse M. Robredo Institute of Governance’s thrust on “Integrity, Intelligence, Inclusiveness and Innovation”.

Also in collaboration with the De La Salle Philippines-Lasallian Justice Peace Commission, COSCA extends its voters’ education to other Lasallian Schools through facilitators training, provision of resource speakers, and exchange of information and training materials.

Voters’ Education training activities this April include Integrated in Leadership training with DLSU ROTC on April 5, training for barangays around Leveriza, Manila on April 13, training for DLSU offices personnel on April 19, and training for partner organizations in Lian, Batangas on April 26.
