DLSU garners 96.7% passing rate in LET Exam

In the recently concluded Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) held last March 2017, De La Salle University obtained a 96.7% performance rating for the secondary level and a 100% passing rate for the elementary level. These results compare favorably with the national passing rates of 25.46% and 10.39% for the secondary and elementary level respectively.

Samantha Christel Chua Gaerlan (Early Childhood Education; graduated December 2014; summa cum laude) is Rank #1 in the Elementary Level and Jhon Edward Macasadia Valera (BSE-Math; graduated December 2016; honorable mention) is Rank # 10 in the Secondary Level.

DLSU Tops LET and CPA Licensure Exams

In the recently concluded May 2015 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Exam, De La Salle University students Sharmaine Fernandez Sy and Melan Anthony Aberonio Yap placed 3rd and 8th respectively. Additionally, the university ranked 2nd among higher education institutions (HEIs) with a passing rate of 81.18%. This result compares favorably with the national passing rate which is at 35.78%.

In the March 2015 Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LET), Yvette May Nido Zulueta placed 9th among 56,596 secondary level teacher examinees nationwide. DLSU ranked 1st among HEIs with 100% passing rates in both the elementary and secondary levels. The national passing rates for the two levels are 27.42% and 31.64% respectively.

To Sharmaine, Melan, and the 67 other new Lasallian CPAs, Yvette, the 28 new Lasallian secondary-level teachers, and the 32 new Lasallian elementary level teachers, congratulations and Animo La Salle!
